We use a modified American Idol-type format. Three local celebrities agreed to be our judges for the first-ever Lawyerpalooza event in 2003.

Spike O'Neill -- A key part of KZOK-FM's morning team, Spike is also an avid biker (motorcycles). His sharp wit in Lawyerpalooza 2003 had us, in computer-geek-speak, ROTFL.

Anne Bremner -- Stafford Frey Cooper, partner. Anne is a noted local litigator, having obtained defense verdicts in the Mary Kay Letourneau case, the Robert Thomas Sr./Mel Miller inquests, and many others. She's been featured on Dateline NBC, Court TV, MSNBC, Good Morning America and the Today Show, and has been a regular on the (national) Fox News Channel.

Mark Lindquist -- Local prosecuting attorney and author of the novel, Nevermind Nirvana.
